Join us at the Delle on the evening of Wednesday, August 12th, for fire, stars, and the Perseid meteor shower (during a new moon). Say what??? All ages welcome. Bring some friends to show them the Delle. (Sunset will be 8:30 FYI)
Additionally, Amrita Church invites adults (21+) to gather around a separate campfire at 9 pm for a 1-hour guided Communion Ceremony of breathwork, somatic movement, meditation, and communion, as we gather in presence, reflection, and community beneath the stars. Participants should bring their own sacrament (BYOC) and are encouraged to bring a camp chair or blanket for comfort.
We know it's cloudy and possible rain…AND we are still going!! Come hang out with us!!! Directions: From SLC: head west on I-80 for 50 miles (past the airport, Tooele, and Grantsville). Stay on I-80 and go PAST the Delle exit for five miles. Take Exit 62 (marked Military Area Lakeside) and turn right at the end of exit ramp and take an immediate right again (heading east) onto a dirt road that parallels the freeway you just got off. This is Skunk Ridge Road. Stay on it, to reach the Delle.
